The Fall of Man
Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done?
And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
Parc de Bruxelles
This was once a game park, but in the late 18th century it was tamed into rigid symmetry and laid out in the design of Masonic symbols. On warm days, joggers and strollers circle the park (the ornamental layout doesn't invite relaxing on the grass). The huge Palais du Roi occupies the entire south side of the park. It was built by Leopold II in the early 20th century on a scale corresponding to his megalomaniacal ambitions.

"The first duty of the reader of this Synopsis is to obey the edicts of his Grand Lodge. Right or wrong, his very existence as a Mason hangs upon obedience to the powers immediately set above him. Failure in this must infallibly bring down expulsion, which, as a Masonic death, ends all. The one unpardonable crime in a Mason is contumacy, or disobedience."
Webb's Freemasons' Monitor, p. 196
"The first duty of every Mason is to obey the Mandate of the Master…The order must at once be obeyed; its character and its consequences may be matters of subsequent inquiry. The Masonic rule of obedience is like the nautical, Imperative: "Obey orders, even if you break owners."

"Some Brethren seem to think Dr Robert Lomas might be the inspiration of the character of Dr Robert Langdon, in Dan Brown's thriller.
I am sure many Brethren have been pleased to see the success of The Da Vinci Code, a popular thriller which portrays Freemasonry as a trustworthy society striving to preserve ancient spiritual secrets. What a marvellous change in attitude this is. At one time the norm was books such as Steven Knight's The Brotherhood, portraying us as self-serving enemies of society. This sea-change is partly due to the work of best-selling, academic, pro-Masonic authors such as Dr Robert Lomas."

This commits the occult initiate to commit murder, if necessary:I do promise and swear upon the Holy Bible never to reveal where I have received this degree . . . and in failure of this I consent to have my body opened perpendicularly and to be exposed for eight hours in the open air, so that the venomous flies may eat my entrails, my head to be cut off and put on the highest pinnacle of the world, and I will always be ready to inflict the same punishment on those who shall disclose this degree and break this obligation. So may God help and maintain me. Amen.Later if he 'advances' in his Masonic career he will learn the secret identity of the God of the Lodge.

Freemasons have traditionally answered their critics in one of two ways:
If the critic is not a Freemason, his criticism is dismissed. Freemasons say he could not possibly know the truth about the society because he has never been a member.
If the critic is a member which has left the society, Freemasons dismiss his criticism by saying that, for some unknown reason, he has developed a hatred against the society. This hatred not only caused him to leave Freemasonry, it has caused him to print absolute lies in an attempt to discredit and destroy the society.
A Masonic Critic
Q. Does the Masonic organization have specified goals for influencing or controlling various Christian churches? How does the influence of Freemasons corrupt Christianity?
A. You have asked some very good questions. Masonry does not directly tell its members to go out and influence, or control, churches. What it does do is to encourage its members to attend churches.
The practical effect is much more far reaching. Many churches are literally controlled by Masons. Many, many Southern Baptist Churches are controlled by deacons who are masons. The majority of pastors are willing to settle for a nice comfortable job. Seldom do they take a stand for truth at any substantial cost. I am not saying that all pastors are like this, but more than half are.
The basic problem between Freemasonry and Christianity is that Christianity holds that Jesus is everything, while Masonry teaches that He is nothing. Freemasonry has a plan of salvation which is based on imitation of their savior, "Hiram Abiff".

In 2002, we became aware of a website belonging to a Knights of Columbus chapter in California. Their Webmaster goes to some length to disparage Freemasonry using the old chestnuts including the Papal Encycals from 1738. It's too bad that there are bigots everywhere and that one person can so poison the well. Fortunately, such hatred does NOT appear on the national organization's website and there are many instances of Knights of Columbus members and Masons working together for the betterment of all mankind. In 2004, we noted that the intolerance and bigotry of Council #1271 of San Luis Obispo at their site formerly titled knightline.org was not only gone but the site's name was up for sale as well. Good riddance to that kind of pedantic hatred!

The Thrice Puissant Grand Master points to the papal tiara and declares:"This represents the tiara of the cruel and cowardly Pontiff. It is therefore the crown of an imposter... that we trample it under our feet."He asks if the candidate is willing to do this, and then all trample on the pope's crown, brandishing poniards and shouting "Down with Imposture!" Did we understand Pike correctly when he said that men of all races and creeds may take the Scottish-rite degrees without compromising their beliefs? We feel justified in doubting the faith of any Catholic who would insult the emblem of the pope's authority in a lodge ritual. Earlier in the 30th-degree ritual, the prospective Knights Kadosh are counseled,"And, finally, keep aloof from uniting yourself with any sectional, political, or sectarian religious organization whose principals can in any way bias your mind or judgment, or in the slightest degree trammel with obligations the vows you have just made."This leaves no question of first loyalty, Church or Scottish rite, should claim a man's first loyalty. President Charles A. Blanchard of Wheaton College pointed out,"Not less than five or six times in the dreary monotony of this degree is the candidate given to understand that Christianity is a narrow, fanatical, intolerant system, while Masonry is a broad, comprehensive, generous one, and that if he is a good Mason he must not be a Christian."This blasphemy is delivered by the Advocate in the working of the 31st degree:"We revolt against the law, by which the crooked limbs and diseased organism of the child are the fruits of the fathers vices. We even think that a God, omnipotent and omniscient, ought to have permitted no pain, no poverty, no servitude. Our ideal of justice is more lofty than the actualities of God."A recital of the lessons of the preceding thirty-one degrees begins the initiation ceremony of the 32nd degree. The candidates are told that "Masonry will eventually rule the world", and they pray for the "universal dominion of the true principals of Masonry."
William J. Whalen
Christianity and American Freemasonry
Ignatius Press 1958, 1987, 1998
William Whalen is a nationally known expert on comparitive religion, an author of 15 books and numerous magazine articles, and a retired Professor of Journalism of 42 years at Purdue University.
"If the bible was the holy book of the Christian enlightenment, then the Encyclopedia was the inspiration of the Enlightenment. Here was a compendium of human knowledge dealing with arts, sciences mechanics and philosophy which swelled to some 36 volumes by 1780. Begun by the Atheist Diderot in 1751, the Encyclopedia bore the imprints of Voltaire, Montesque, Rousseau, Buffon, Turgot and others. Gracing the title page of Diderot's compendium in the first edition was a drawing of Lucifer, symbol of light and rebellion, standing beside the masonic symbols of square and compass.
The Enlightenment mirrored the Christian religion. Reason became its revelation, nature its god. If the Enlightenment did not abolish the myth of god, it reduced god to a sort of absentee deity, a caretaker to the universe who was nevertheless subject to the laws of nature. Deism arose from the same fertile soil of the Enlightenment as had Atheism, and no doubt many deists were actually Atheists. The deistic god was symbolized in the masonic lodges as the "Great Architect of the Universe", certainly not the god of the Christian superstition."

'In the period of the union Between Sweden and Norway 1814-1905 the King was simultaneously the Grand Master of the Lodges in both countries and the head of the Lutheran state-churches in both countries. The new Norwegian King Haakon VII did not wish to become Grand Master, not on religious grounds, but because he did not wish to become associated solely with the upper class.
Thus this traditional association between Freemasonry and the Protestant Church might explain why it is seldom questioned by the clergy in Scandinavia. Speculations concerning secret conspiracies were centered on the Jesuits, not the Masons. With the result that Jesuits were banned from entering Norway well into the 1950s.'
No Room At The Inn
Jim Shaw, the demitted 33rd degree Freemason, who resigned from Masonry after becoming a Christian wrote in his book The Deadly Deception: "there is underlying all Masonic thinking and writing, an attitude and spirit of elitism which says, "Masonry is not for everyone, just for the select few." At the same time Masonry teaches it is the only true religion and that all other religions are but corrupted and perverted forms of Masonry.
This is both elitist and contradictory, in that it leaves no hope for the non-elite to ever be able to find the "true religion." Freemasonry proudly proclaims it makes good men better; but this leaves no provision for bad men to ever be able to become good."
He continues: "It is significant, I think, that those whom Masonry rejects and excludes are the very ones Jesus sought out to accept and minister to:
The Lodge excludes and rejects the blind, for they cannot see to engage in the signs and due-guards;
it rejects the crippled and maimed, for they cannot assume the body positions necessary for the signs and due-guards.
The deaf are excluded because they cannot hear the "secret" words.
The poor are excluded, for they cannot pay the fees and dues.
The mentally challenged are rejected because they cannot memorize the correct questions and answers to be recited in rituals in order to function in the Lodge.
The emotionally ill are rejected because they cannot be trusted with the "secrets."
Historically, blacks and women have been excluded simply because they are considered unsuitable."
"Jesus, on the other hand proclaims that "whosoever will, may come" and receive His gift of redemption and that all may "take the water of life freely" (Rev. 22:17). He especially reached out to the blind, the crippled, the mentally challenged and mentally ill, the poor and the unwanted - the very ones Masonry excludes and rejects (as unworthy)."
The Occult Octopus
The late Dr. Walter Martin, world renown authority on comparative religion and author of the Christian classic: The Kingdom of the Cults, during a debate with a self professed "Christian Mason," on The John Ankerberg Show, referred to Masonry as "Metaphysical Satanism."
Dr. Martin also stated of Masonry that he strenuously objected to the paganism within it. Upon visiting the Masonic Temple in Los Angeles, he found there a statue of Moses, a statue of Zoroaster, one of Osiris, and statues of many Egyptian gods and goddesses. His objection was that "when you put Moses, a representative of the God of the Bible, in the midst of the pagan world, which God judged for its evil, condemning them as vile, depraved, and wicked, then you have gone beyond 'just symbols', and are playing with dangerous spiritual fire."
William Schnoebelen, former Witch and Satanist, former 32nd degree Mason, wrote in Masonry: Beyond The Light equating Freemasonry with Witchcraft. In a chapter called "The Witchcraft Connection," he lists the following occultists, witches and sorcerers who have all been high ranking Freemasons during the past century:
Arthur Edward Waite-occult writer, black magician, and Masonic historian who wrote an "Encyclopaedia of Freemasonry."
Dr. Wynn Westcott-member of the Societas Rosicruciana in Anglia and founding member of the occult Order of the Golden Dawn whose members introduced "Tantric" perverted ritualistic sex to western society as worship.
S. L. MacGregor Mathers-co-founder of the occultic Golden Dawn.
Aleister Crowley-master satanist of this century who was pursued in letters by pseudo-scientist Afred Kinsey for his "sexual experiences," and who founded the anti-Christ religion, Thelema. He used children in perverted sexual rituals and advocated human sacrifice.
Dr. Gerard Encausse-(Papus) masterful author, teacher of the Tarot and leader of the occult Martinistes society
Dr. Theodore Reuss-head of the O.T.O., a German occult satanic society which made Aleister Crowley its head for the British Isles
George Pickingill-the master warlock of 19th century England, leader of the "Pickingill covens"
Annie Besant-leader of the occult Theosophical society and co-Masonic hierarch
Alice Bailey-founder of the occultic New Age, Lucis (formerly Lucifer) Trust and author of The Externalization of the Hierarchy" which foretells the "New Age" or New World Order" naming 1)Freemasonry, 2)the public School System, and 3)the mainline visible apostate "Christian" church as the three organizations through which the New World Order will insidiously infiltrate the world's society as a Trojan horse - from the inside.
Bishop C. W. Leadbetter-Theosophist, mentor to the failed New Age "Christ", Krishnamurti, and prelate in the occult Liberal Catholic Church
Gerald B. Gardner-hereditary witch largely responsible for reviving Witchcraft in the modern Western world. By 1951 the last of the English laws against witchcraft were repealed and throughout the 50s into the 60s Brother Gardner published some widely read books on the rituals and traditions of his covens which became the basis of the 'New Age' occult religion 'crafted' and marketed by Masonry to the youth of the world - Wicca.

Secret societies have been in existence at least since the date of the earliest known writings. Some have served utilitarian ends, others speculative; some have been visible, others invisible, except to government information services, which have always been aware of their existence. Each has based its existence on a secret, the secret of its mystery, purpose, direction, ritual or, more generally, its organization. Ultimately, what has at all times and in all places distinguished secret societies from other associations is that the former are organized in a manner parallel to, but often above, official forms of government, whatever those forms may be.

"The triumph of the Galilean", said the president of the Grand Orient, Senator Delpech, on 20 September, 1902, "has lasted twenty centuries. But now he dies in his turn. The mysterious voice, announcing (to Julian the Apostate) the death of Pan, to-day announces the death of the impostor God who promised an era of justice and peace to those who believe in him. The illusion has lasted a long time. The mendacious God is now disappearing in his turn; he passes away to join in the dust of ages the divinities of India, Egypt, Greece, and Rome, who saw so many creatures prostrate before their altars. Bro. Masons, we rejoice to state that we are not without our share in this overthrow of the false prophets. The Romish Church, founded on the Galilean myth, began to decay rapidly from the very day on which the Masonic Association was established".

The strong connection between the Itihàts (conspirators) and Masonry is a well-documented fact. The leftist Turkish writer, Kamouran Mberik Xartboutlou, in his book, The Turkish Impasse ( from the Greek translation of the French publication of 1974. p.24), wrote: "Those who desired entry into the inner circle of that secret organization [the Itihàt], had to be a Mason, and had to have the backing of a large segment of the commercial class." The true nature of the relationship between the Young Turks and the Masonic lodges of Thessaloniki has been commented upon by many researchers and writers. In her well-known and extensively documented book, Secret Societies and Subversive Movements (London. 1928, p. 284), author and historian Nesta Webster writes that "The Young Turk movement began in the Masonic lodges of Thessaloniki under the direct supervision of the Grand Orient Lodge of Italy, which later shared in the success of Mustapha Kemal."
Of course, the precise nature of this relationship is clouded in mystery, but enough facts exist allowing for more than just informed conjecture based on circumstantial evidence. An example of the Itihàt-Masonic connection is the interview that Young Turk, Refik Bey, gave to the Paris newspaper Le Temps, on the 20th of August 1908: "It's true that we receive support from Freemasonry and especially from Italian Masonry. The two Italian lodges [of Thessaloniki] -- Macedonia Risorta and Labor et Lux -- have provided invaluable services and have been a refuge for us. We meet there as fellow Masons, because it is a fact that many of us are Masons, but more importantly we meet so that we can better organize ourselves."

The decision to carry out a genocide against the Armenian people was made by the political party in power in the Ottoman Empire. This was the Committee of Union and Progress (CUP) (or Ittihad ve Terakki Jemiyeti), popularly known as the Young Turks. Three figures from the CUP controlled the government; Mehmet Talaat, Minister of the Interior in 1915 and Grand Vizier (Prime Minister) in 1917; Ismail Enver, Minister of War; Ahmed Jemal, Minister of the Marine and Military Governor of Syria. This Young Turk triumvirate relied on other members of the CUP appointed to high government posts and assigned to military commands to carry out the Armenian Genocide.

In Turkey, it is a crime punishable by imprisonment to denigrate "Turkishness" or Ataturk. The statute is sometimes used to prosecute people who criticize official government policy on a wide range of sensitive issues.

[Lord Elgin] was Grand Master Mason of Scotland between 1961 and 1965 and is still Provincial Grand Master of Fife and head of the Royal Order of Scotland, a position that allows him to travel the world promoting Scotland and the contribution he believes has been made by the unique Scottish rite of Freemasonry.
He is passionate about Masonry and, in an interview with Freemasonry Today, confronted head on allegations of improper influence and secrecy. For him, neither of these attributes should have a central role in Freemasonry. He was critical of the "type of mason" who "unfortunately believes that because they've taken the oath, there is no way they are going to divulge any information, for it might cause them to be chopped up."
Lord Elgin's aristocratic credentials are enough to secure him any introduction he might want without the assistance of fellow masons. But he has travelled the world on their behalf and has enjoyed adventures which, if not quite the equivalent of being held prisoner by Napoleon, seem to meet the standards of previous generations of Elgin adventurers.
The Shah of Iran once concluded that, if his country was to become a modern state, it must have its own branch of Freemasonry. He invited Lord Elgin to explain Masonry to him. Elgin describes meeting him as a "special memory" He says "We covered every possible subject and I think he knew very well what Masonry was all about, but at the same time he was constantly looking over both shoulders, guarding himself against some form of conspiracy, which might come into Iran under the modernising ideas of the west."
The meeting lasted twice as long as the Shah's staff had allocated. Lord Elgin explains "It was the most extraordinary meeting with a crown head I've ever had. Normally, in a meeting with the Queen, she presses a button, the door opens, and you're out. When we finally got out into the street, our Iranian friends were sitting there trembling with fear. They thought we'd been done away with."

SAVAK was founded in 1957 with the assistance of the United States' Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Its mission was to place opponents of the Shah's regime under surveillance and to repress dissident movements through intimidation, exile, imprisonment, assassination, and torture. Though estimates vary widely, it was likely responsible for thousands of deaths.
Universities, labor unions and peasant organizations, amongst others, were all subjected to intense surveillance by the Savak agents and paid informants.
The SAVAK Censorship Office was established to monitor journalists, literary figures and academics throughout the country. It took appropriate measures against those who fell out of the regime's line.
Over the years, the Guardia killed thousands and tortured and imprisoned many more without trial. In 1981, after the Somoza regime was overthrown, the Geneva-based International Commission of Jurists issued a report on “Human Rights in Nicaragua” that summarized their human rights record. The report noted that, “The scale of the assassinations and torture of opponents was such that they cannot be regarded merely as the results of overzealous or abusive acts by the National Guard. Rather, they were part of a system of government.”

The Sign. On the way home from dinner, Sandino, a Freemason, was seized by a group of armed men, and hustled away. Soon after, a Guardia officer called the barracks, reported that Sandino had given the Masonic sign of distress. Freemason Somoza, unmoved, roared: "Carry out your orders!" At La Aviación field, on the southeast edge of Managua, guns cracked. Sandino is buried, say Nicaraguans, just under the runway TACA planes now use.
Somoza no longer had a rival. Within two years he was ready to strike for the top in a revolution that was quick and successful. In 1936 he put a stooge in office, then had himself elected President. Though the Marines had laid down the rule that the Guardia be half Liberal, half Conservative, Tacho kicked out the Conservatives, put his own pals in key spots. In 1939 he got himself elected for eight more years. And he went to Washington.
To prime President Roosevelt for the visit, Sumner Welles sent him a long solemn memorandum about Somoza and Nicaragua. According to a story told around Washington, Roosevelt read the memo right through, wisecracked: "As a Nicaraguan might say, he's a sonofabitch but he's ours."

Led by an illustrious succession of Masonic Presidents, America has been equally supported in the ranks of the military.
Tragically, the War Between the States interrupted America's first century of nationhood. Brethren of the North and South felt compelled to defend their ideals of geographical sections, and many were prominent Masons. Generals Albert Pike, Beauregard, McClellan, Lew Wallace, who authored "Ben Hur" and Admiral Farragut are a few names that come to mind from both sides. The roster of Union and Confederate Freemasons is long and illustrious, but even in the midst of war, they sustained the ideals of peace and brotherhood. For instance, often Brethren would call a Masonic Truce and halt hostilities to exchange wounded or minister to the fallen.
General John J. "Blackjack" Pershing was commander-in-chief of the American Expeditionary Forces in World War 1. Highly decorated Eddie Rickenbacker distinguished himself in the skies in the same war. Both were Masons. Likewise, our nation's high command during World War lI was largely made up of Masons. Brother and General George C. Marshall headed the U.S. Army from 1939 to 1945, and after the war was Truman's Secretary of State. He founded the famous Marshall Plan to aid European recovery as a buttress to world peace. Douglas MacArthur made history in the Philippines and elsewhere in the Southwest Pacific. Omar Bradley was a key figure in the invasion of Normandy and, later, permanent chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 1949 to 1955. Jonathan M. Wainwright was the hero of Bataan and Corregidor and later, a prisoner of war in Manchuria. General James H. Doolittle, world famous aviator, personally carried America's "Crusade for Freedom" into the skies above Tokyo. Charles A. Lindbergh distinguished himself in the skies, first, in 1927 by making the first solo Transatlantic flight and then in World War II by flying combat missions as a civilian over the Pacific. Lyman Lemnitzer was Commander of the NATO forces. He and his wife organized the Masonic Children's Home in Pusan, Korea. Curtis E. LeMay was instrumental in organizing the Strategic Air Command. The most decorated hero of World War II was Audie Murphy, a Mason. At all levels, from chief of staff to private, our fraternal Brothers in every branch of the Armed Forces proved their Masonic courage under fire.
Second only to the military in the ranks of Masonic honor stand the titans of American industry, those giants of commerce and manufacturing who have used free enterprise to build this nation. Perhaps the most famous of all epic builders is Henry Ford. His creation of the Model "T" automobile revolutionized America, put our nation on wheels, and introduced mass assembly techniques to industry. Following his lead were Walter P. Chrysler and Ransom E. Olds, two other automotive giants and Masons. So was John North Willys of "Jeep" fame: The railroad industry saw Leland Stanford, who was Governor of California, then went on to be one of the "Big Four" who built the Central Pacific Railroad. Also, was George M. Pullman, the inventor and founder of the Pullman Palace Car Co. He founded the industrial town of Pullman, near Chicago, where he built his company shops.
American industry is more than invention and manufacture. It is also distribution, communication, and production. Brother James C. Penney began his first "Golden Rule" store in 1902, but in a few short years he innovated a system of mass distribution that made economical goods available to the average American. David Sarnoff, as president of the Radio Corporation of America, became the "Father of Television." We can also include Colonel Sanders of KFC fame and Dave Thomas of Wendy's in this list of Masonic industrialists. Samuel Gompers, early founder of the American Federation of Labor, true to his Masonic background, focused on the industrial worker.
Not to be outdone, Freemasons in the fields of science, medicine and exploration have made significant contributions from colonial times to...

Outwardly, Lemnitzer remained stiff and correct. But deep inside he was raging at the new and youthful Kennedy White House. He felt out of place and out of time in a culture that seemed suddenly to have turned its back on military tradition. Almost immediately he became, in the clinical sense, paranoid; he began secretly expressing his worries to other senior officers. A little more than a month after Kennedy took office, he sent a letter to General Lauris Norstad, the commander-in-chief of the U.S. European Command, and several other top generals. Fearful that the administration would learn of his comments, he noted, "I had considered sending this information to you by electrical means but in view of its nature, I am sending it by letter for your ...EYES ONLY.
Lemnitzer had no respect for the civilians he reported to. He believed they interfered with the proper role of the military. The "civilian hierarchy was crippled not only by inexperience," he would later say, "but also by arrogance arising from failure to recognize its own limitations.... The problem was simply that the civilians would not accept military judgments." In Lemnitzer's view, the country would be far better off if the generals could take over.
Although no one in Congress could have known it at the time, Lemnitzer and the Joint Chiefs had quietly slipped over the edge.
According to secret and long-hidden documents obtained for Body of Secrets, the Joint Chiefs of Staff drew up and approved plans for what may be the most corrupt plan ever created by the U.S. government. In the name of anticommunism, they proposed launching a secret and bloody war of terrorism against their own country in order to trick the American public into supporting an ill-conceived war they intended to launch against Cuba.
Codenamed Operation Northwoods, the plan, which had the written approval of the Chairman and every member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, called for innocent people to be shot on American streets; for boats carrying refugees fleeing Cuba to be sunk on the high seas; for a wave of violent terrorism to be launched in Washington, D.C., Miami, and elsewhere. People would be framed for bombings they did not commit; planes would be hijacked. Using phony evidence, all of it would be blamed on Castro, thus giving Lemnitzer and his cabal the excuse, as well as the public and international backing, they needed to launch their war.

I had a custom of keeping a holy picture of one of the Saints to whom she appeared on my prie-dieu in my cell, and I used to pray to the Immaculata very fervently. One of my confreres, upon seeing the picture, remarked that I must have a great devotion to that Saint. But it was really the Immaculata to whom I was directing my prayers.
Years later, the Freemasons in Rome began to demonstrate openly and belligerently against the Church. They placed the black standard of the "Giordano Brunisti" under the windows of the Vatican. On this standard the archangel, St. Michael, was depicted lying under the feet of the triumphant Lucifer. At the same time, countless pamphlets were distributed to the people in which the Holy Father was attacked shamefully.
Right then I conceived the idea of organizing an active society to counteract Freemasonry and other slaves of Lucifer.

Joseph Bonaparte encouraged the spread of the lodge in Spain, and the aggressively political and anticlerical Spanish lodges contributed to Spanish unrest for decades. In neighboring Portugal, Masonic politicians gained control of the nation in 1910 and set up a republic with the following provisions:Ministers of religion shall have no part in the parochial lay corporations or associations in charge of temporal affairs. A minister of religion who criticizes or attacks any of the acts of a public authority or the form of government or the laws of the Republic or any of the provisions of the present law will be punishible by law. Church property shall belong to the State, but shall be loaned to the Church. The wearing of the clerical habit outside of the churches and ceremonies is prohibited. It is also prohibited to publish in any way by word or deed, any bulls, decrees, or communications from the Roman Curia, or prelates, or others, without explicit permission from the civil authorities. The state will have charge of naming and approving the professors in ecclesiastical seminaries for the training of priests and will determine the textbooks and courses of study therein. No Jesuits or other monastic orders or religious congregations shall be admitted into Portugese territory. All Jesuits, whether alien, or naturalized citizens, or natives, are expelled, and all their real or personal property is confiscated. As for the members of other religious orders, if they are aliens or naturalized citizens, they are likewise to be expelled, and if they are natives, they must return to secular life, or at least may not live in community, and shall not be allowed to exercise the teaching profession or intervene in any way in education.Christianity and American Freemasonry

Mexican revolutionists Benito Juarez, Ignacio Ramirez, and Porfirio Diaz were all Freemasons, as were most of their close associates. Through their efforts, all Church property was confiscated, and even today no church or religious organization is permitted to own any property in Mexico whatsoever. Every church of whatever denomination, as well as every monastery and convent, is owned by the Mexican government, which permits congregations to use the premises for religious purposes. Technically, even the wearing of a clerical collar or religious habit violates Mexican law. Novelist Evelyn Waugh describes the role of the lodge in recent Mexian history:The first instrument of this policy was Joel Poinsett, who came to Mexico at the establishment of its independence, first as United States agent, later as accredited minister; the means he chose, perhaps the only efficacious means he could have chosen, was the establishment of a rival secret society - the Yorkish Rite to oppose the dominent Scottish Rite.Christianity and American Freemasonry
The Yorkish Rite, introduced by Poinset, was the natural rallying point for those who had been disappointed in the shareout of benefits; it was made up of the lawless elements of the Revolution - the Villas and Zapatas of the revolution of 1910 - and was republican, proletarian and fiercely irreligious in character. Five lodges were organized with local chiefs. Soon the two Rites were divided not only by political views but by personal vendettas. For fifty years the history of Mexico becomes a series of coups and plots, assassinations and executions; of embezzlement and bribery; the learned and charitable institutions were sacked to provide funds for rival gangs; the work of three centuries of civilized rule was obliterated in a generation, leaving the nation bankrupt, discredited abroad and divided by irrreconcilable hatred at home.

"So the Pope is thinking about excommunicating our Prime Minister, is he? In the religion game, that's called hardball.
We can play hardball too. How about he can excommunicate our Prime Minister and we can get rid of the tax exemption on Catholic Church property? They'd have to start selling their real estate. Failing that, we'd have to seize it and auction it off. It's happened before."

6. BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS A STRANGE BROTHER
You are cautiously to examine him, in such a Method as Prudence shall direct you, that you may not be impos'd upon by an ignorant, false Pretender, whom you are to reject with contempt and Derision, and beware of giving him any Hints of Knowledge.
But if you discover him to be a true and genuine Brother, you are to respect him accordingly; and if he is in Want, you must relieve him if you can, or else direct him how he may be relieved; you must employ him some days, or else recommend him to be employ'd. But you are not charged to do beyond your ability, only to prefer a poor Brother, that is a good Man and true before any other poor People in the same Circumstance.
The Oaths, the Penalties, and the Secrets - whether all disclosed with perfect accuracy or not; whether understood as they were by the murderers of Morgan, or as explained by the defenders of Masonry - are unreasonable, odious, and I believe unlawful. The Oaths of all Masons, heretofor admitted, if they ever had any binding force, are dissolved by the public disclosure of the secrets, which they had bound themselves to keep. Their country calls on them to disclaim henceforth and forever all secrets, and as incidental to the injuction of them, all oaths and penalties. This reasonable and moderate call has not only been resisted by the great body of Freemasons throughout the United States, but no man, high or low, eminent or obscure, has dared to avow this opinion and unite in this call without being assailed in his reputation, robbed of his good name, insulted, abused and vilified openly and in secret, by individual Masons and by organized Lodges, a body of at least two hundred thousand men, scattered over the whole Union, - all active and voting men, linked together by secret ties, for purposes of indefinite extent; bound together by oaths and penalties operating with terrific energy upon the human heart, and upon its fears; embracing within the penalty within its laws the President of the United States and his leading competitors; and winding itself around every great politcal party for its support, like poisonous ivy round a sturdy oak, and round every object of its aversion, like the boa-constrictor around its victim. Such in faint and diluted colors is at this time the image of the Masonic Institution in these United States. Commanding despotically a large portion of the public presses - intimidating by its terrors multitudes of others - and amid all its internal dissensions, uniting with the whole mass of its power against every common adversary, one of the most alarming and pernicious characters in which it now presents itself, is that of its political dominion. You tell me that you are Antimasonic in your opinion and feelings, but are perplexed by the mixture of Politics with Antimasonry. But you place herein the effect before the cause. The mixture of Politics is with Masonry.

P2 is one of more than 520 Masonic lodges which belong to the Grand Orient of Italy, the principal Masonic organisation in the country.
The lodge has been described as "a state within a state" amid allegations that it plotted to carry out a right-wing coup in Italy.

The early growth of the Shrine was slow. By 1878, membership had reached 425 in thirteen temples. These early Shriners won an unenviable reputation as tipplers; they referred to booze as "camel's milk". Some state Masonic Grand Lodges debated whether to expel any Masons who joined the Shrine. By the time of the 1920 Shrine convention, some of the Nobles were voicing their concern at the poor image of the organization... Envy of the Catholic Church's role in building and staffing hundreds of hospitals across the country was an obvious factor in the debate on the proposal at the 1920's convention. Forrest Adair of Atlanta declared:"I hope that within two, or three, or four or five years from now we will be impelled from the wonderful work that has been done, to establish more of these hospitals, in easy reach of all parts of North America, and let it be known that while our friends, the enemy, is now about the only institution that is establishing hospitals and schools and things of that kind for the benefit of humanity, the Shrine is going to do them one better."No one in Noble Adair's audience had any doubt as to the identity of "the enemy". To allay the fears of the Nobles, another speaker assured them that if the hospital committee did not "do it right and devoted themselves too much to Catholic children or Negro children we can fire them and get another committee."

Not a single declaration of belief in the Weimar Republic can be found in the Masonic journals Am rauhen Stein (On the Rough Stone) of the Grand Lodge of Friendship and the Bundesblatt (Federal Paper),of the Grand National Mother Lodge. Instead, the Fatherland was mysticized in contrast to the political reality, and the journals postulated a “national self-contemplation.” Most members of the Old- Prussian lodges and even some members of the few dogmatic Humanitarian lodges did not find the central elements of the Nazi Party’s ideology to be contradictory to their Masonic beliefs. Instead, they found the ideology to be rather complementary to their own understanding of Freemasonry. Before the Nazis came to power, the president of the Verein deutscher Freimaurer (German Freemason Association), Diedrich Bischoff, even suggested an inspiration of the “Third Reich” based on or through Masonic idealism.

One of the most hidden secrets involves the so-called fall of Angels. Satan and his rebellious host will thus prove to have become the direct Saviours and Creators of divine man. Thus Satan, once he ceases to be viewed in the superstitious spirit of the church, grows into the grandiose image. It is Satan who is the God of our planet and the only God. Satan (or Lucifer) represents the Centrifugal Energy of the Universe, this ever-living symbol of self-sacrifice for the intellectual independence of humanity.

It (Satan) is that Angel who was proud enough to believe himself God; brave enough to buy his independence at the price of eternal suffering and torture; beautiful enough to have adored himself in full divine light; strong enough to still reign in darkness amidst agony, and to have made himself a throne out of this inextinguishable pyre.
