South Wales Evening Post TOP FREEMASON STOLE WIDOWS' MONEY July 12, 2013 By Chad Welch Comments (7) THE ex-almoner of St Elli Freemasons' Lodge stole thousands from charity funds destined to benefit the needy. John Rheinallt Frederick Jenkins, aged 76, of Gilbert Crescent, Llanelli was in charge of handling charity money out of which he took £9,000 over a nine-year stint. Jenkins pleaded guilty to theft before Llanelli magistrates yesterday. The court heard that Jenkins told police he "had been a fool" and had "ruined his life".
