Posted on Thu, Jul. 01, 2004 Education Sunset student's essay wins contest Recently, Coconut Grove Lodge 258 Free and Accepted Masons awarded a $1,000 scholarship to Caroline Dias of Sunset High School for her essay ''Freemasonry and the American Revolution.'' In her essay, Caroline pointed out the important role that American Freemasons played in aiding and influencing the American Revolution. Caroline, who will attend Cornell, was awarded the scholarship on June 17 at the Lodge. |
