The Clanton Advitisor Masons install new officers Thursday, July 12, 2012 By Emily Beckett
The Clanton Masonic Lodge No. 423 held its officer installation ceremony and dinner July 10 at the Clanton Lodge Building. After a covered dish dinner, the following officers were installed: •Senior Deacon: Bro. Charles David Niles •Junior Deacon: Bro. Charles Bradley McLaughlin •Senior Steward: Bro. Michael Anthony Connell •Junior Steward: Bro. James Scott Ray •Tiler: Bro. Willard Randall Mahan •Historian: Bro. Andrew Alan Ellison Master Jim Ray said the Clanton Masons cook and sell Boston butts four times a year to raise funds for charity. “We give a lot of money over the course of the year to different charities throughout Chilton County,” Ray said.
